I. Once Upon Eternity
"And so is it written, the first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit. Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual. The first man is of the earth, earthy; the second man is the Lord from heaven. As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly. And as we have born the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly. Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood can not inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. Behold, I shew you a mystery…" 1st Corinthians 15:45-50
Once upon eternity Began to be we know A reflection of the One To come again He told
Translated from the Life which was Passed down on us to be Born then in sin unto darkness For partaking of death's tree
God said dying thou shalt die Yet then Satan told his lie He said ye shall be as gods When pride's wisdom opens your eyes
Reality was once known Before the dark dimensions found a place Now strong delusions fall Upon an unbelieving terrestrial race
Thus we hear echoes of the past Seen in the reflections of the Last When in a realm of solid mass A redeemable creature was cast
Never known of or before For to open up the door To bring all things under subjection Into His fullness forevermore
Behold the Lamb He came The Way, the Truth and the Life The Majesty of all Ages To bear the pain and die
His sinless blood to satisfy The Law of The Most High His own unto Himself He alone and no one else
His mercy is extended unto all For transformation is the call Ye must be Born Again of the Holy Spirit For a living soul did fall. ©1995 Raymond Bolton Pena
"Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he can not enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again." John 3:5-7

II. The Machine
"Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light." Matthew 11:28-30
The days cascade into weeks gone by And the old man sighs The pursuit of survival has quenched his life And the old man cries
In sorrow the old man tills the earth Under his father Adam's curse
It is I Yes it is I The old man is I
No time to give, no time to live No time to see, no time to breathe
It is me Yes it is me The old man is me
No time to share, no time to care No time to stop, no time to spare
I am he Yes I am he The old man is me
Again I lay down my soul trying to find rest Only to awake again to dress And to restart the Machine
Cursed I am enslaved to this world The Machine
A new day cascades into a revolving past gone by And a new man cries The pursuit of God has brought new life And a new man opens his eyes
In joy the new man has come to birth Crucified with Christ now blessed not cursed
It is no longer I No, no longer I The new man is Christ
Now time to give, now time to live Now time to see, now time to breathe
I am free Yes I am free Because Jesus Christ now lives in me
Now time to share. now time to care Now time to stop, now time to spare
It is He Oh yes it's He Not I no more It is Christ God in me
Now I lay down my soul to a new found rest Only to awake more gloriously blessed To overcome the machine

III. For God So Loved You
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16-21
When it's your time to go you shall lose all control You're going to die it's as simple as that How may ever it be, preconceived or unforeseen? It might be wise to consider the facts
One day you're alive and then by surprise Death has taken the breath from your lungs Thus your body it dies and your loved ones sore cry Yet the question remains: "Where have you gone?"
Will it be to heaven above to rejoice in God's love Would you be able to stand in the light? Or to hell down below where one and all go Who have never been bought with the price?
God's Word clothed in man's flesh, it was Jesus who said: You must be born of the Spirit from on high Thus, repent of your sins and be born again Calling upon Jesus, The Way, Truth and Life
You must believe that He died, for you, all and I And for our sins His sinless blood was shed Have faith in your heart to reach forth from the dark Knowing that this same Jesus was raised from the Dead
Then admit with your life's breath, you're dying unto death Confess that you're a sinner in need of God's love Accepting His merciful grace, by believing in faith Be ye transformed by His soul cleansing blood © 1995 Raymond Bolton Pena
"For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God." John 3:17-21

IV. Today Is The Day
"Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God. But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end; While it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation. For some, when they had heard, did provoke: howbeit not all that came out of Egypt by Moses. But with whom was he grieved forty years? was it not with them that had sinned, whose carcases fell in the wilderness? And to whom sware he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that believed not? So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief." Hebrews 3:12-19
Yesterday is tomorrow's past Which is today forever to last
Because yesterday's future began today Which was tomorrow yesterday
So tomorrow's future which is to come Is really today because yesterday is done
Thus the past and the future today we live For when one day is gone another God gives
Therefore today is the day of salvation Not tomorrow's future or yesterday's past

V. To Be Born Again
"Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he can not enter into the kingdom of God." John 3:3-5
When I beheld the Lamb I seen the wretch I am And as before Him I did stand I yielded my soul into His hands
Then I pled for His Merciful Grace As I looked into His glorious face No longer to be blinded by Satan To my own sinful and twisted dark state

VI. Take up thy Cross
"And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's, the same shall save it. For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels." Mark 8:34-38
Through the blood of Jesus To see face to face Of sin and self To leave no trace
Grasping tight To that scarlet thread To be washed and cleansed And to sin be dead
From a helpless wretch To be born again We are only worthy Through the blood of the Lamb
Translated from the darkness of Death Unto the Light of Life We are given a Two Edged Sword With which to fight

VII. Believe, Be Baptized and Be Filled
"Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Saving yourselves from this untoward generation." Acts 2:38-40
I declare God's grace to you JESUS CHRIST is God in truth
His Word it tells us that we must repent To turn from our sins and be born again
This is the glorious gospel that saves Believe and Be Baptized In Jesus Name
Renounce the hidden deeds you've done Confess you're lost and so undone
Reject the world and its pleasures loved Be filled by the Spirit from up above
His Cross no more to despise and hate His Word to love, to live and pray
