My Poetic Contemplations Introduction and Index of Categories
Greetings of Grace, Peace and Mercy in the Name of Jesus Christ It has been a long time since I first began working on getting all these poems on this Web-Site and I sincerely apologize for the long delay. The enemies have been many and the trying circumstances have been more. Since beginning this effort for the Web-Site I have faced many discouraging set backs and have moved nine times in as little as five years having to start over from scratch each time. There have also been health related issues as well, which have only added to the trials. Yet were it not for the fiery trials of this life, I would never have written half of these poems. And for the record, God has been so merciful and far more faithful to me than I ever deserved. Those of you who saw the first Web-Site before this new one was put up, will notice that there are some changes. I have basically made 14 different catagory pages for the poems with all the poems for each catagory displayed on the same catagory page. This way there will be a lot less clicking required and all you have to do is scroll down to see all the poems in any one of the catagory pages. You will also notice that I have added a lot of new poems. Many of which are actually old ones that have never been published and will be new to this Web-Site. There is still much work to do in getting various articles done for this Web-Site and I would ask for your prayers. God willing I will finally be able to get internet service next month so I can answer e-mails. I apologize for the delay in this matter. I now have no car and the public transit here has left me stranded one time too many and it's very undependable. So I am not able to get to a place where I can check my e-mail presently. And when I am able, getting back home is such a challenge that I have decided to not chance it again. I pray that these poems will be a source of encouragement, comfort, reproof, edification, inspiration, exhortation and admonition to God's scattered Remnant Church. As well as being a written Ministry of restoration and spiritual life to the back-slidden and lost. In closing this introductory word to "My Poetic Contemplations" I dedicate the following prayer to every struggling soul who has faced the battle for spiritual life in this valley of spiritual death that is the world. A Pilgrim’s Journey Prayer
"The LORD bless thee, and keep thee: The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace." Numbers 6:24-26
May the dark clouds of oppression and despair which have overshadowed your life be driven into utter obscurity.
May the Son of Righteousness shine down in all the exceeding greatness of His grace to kiss your face with the warmth of His loving kindness.
May the waves and billows of adversity which you have faced be calmed as the raging oceans of chaos and turmoil in your life are stilled into utter silence.
And may the sands of time be laid ever so softly beneath your tired and weary feet upon this your pilgrim's journey.
