The Mammonite Money Manipulators
Alright, let’s just get real here. There they stand in Mega Sport’s Domes, Arenas, Auditoriums and Amphitheaters as they travel America and the world over preaching to the multitudes that come to see their favorite Television Minister. And as is customary, the evening offering is always taken. Most in attendance not only give $20.00, $50.00, and/or $100.00 Dollars. But they also purchase the Books, Booklets, Manuals, Tape Sets, Videos, CD’s, Buttons, Bumper Stickers, T-Shirts and "Jesus" Jewelry. And given the thousands of souls in attendance, the money which one single Crusade draws is more than most of us will make in half a life time.
But wait! Back on the home front these same Ministers Pastor Mega Churches which seat many thousands. And there they are on the television taking up the morning or evening offering. You look and notice that most of those in the congregation are wearing three piece suits. Some wear elegant dresses, while others dress casual but very nice. Yet what they all have in common is the fact that each will give their ten percent tithe. A few will give $1,000.00 a week, some $500.00, some $300.00, some $200.00, and some $100.00. Others will give $50.00, and $20.00. And a lot will give $10.00, $5.00 and $1.00. Yet it all adds up and usually in just one service they take in more money than most of us will see in a year’s time.
Yet it does not end there. Because on these same programs they are asking for financial support from all who have tuned in across America. “Give and it shall be given.” And they tell us that the “Trinity Broadcasting Network” alone takes in well over $100,000,000.00 a year! Over One Hundred Million! And you wonder if that even includes all the stuff that they sell? But it gets even worse. Because you turn on the Christian Radio and there are enough commercials to pay their budget for the next ten years. But there they are every season. Spring, summer, fall, and winter holding their fund raisers and Share-a-thons.
Living to Take from those who are Dying to Give
Some are even so scandalous that they have commercial sound bites between their various Radio Ministry programs where they actually instruct you on how to obtain a “Last Will and Testament” in case you die, so that you might keep on giving to their Broadcasting Networks even after you are dead! And they have absolutely no shame or respect at all about doing so. I mean just stop and really think about this for a moment. Because it’s not only irreverent and sacrilegious, it’s just plain reprehensibly immoral!
We are creatures who have been made in the image of God and as such we bury our dead in the hope of the resurrection. And as human beings there ought to be a priceless value and sanctity for human life. Only unclean and rabid animals like hyena’s, jackals, buzzards and vultures prey upon the dying just waiting to exploit and devour their prey for their own profit once their victims have died. And only a Judas in the Ministry would even be mindful of pilfering the financial, material and estate’s resources of the elderly, sick and dying. The Ministry of Jesus Christ upon this earth was not one of condemnation. Yet the treachery of these modern day scribes and Pharisees is nothing new. And it so sickened Jesus that even He condemned such saying:
“Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye devour widows' houses, and for a pretence make long prayer: therefore ye shall receive the greater damnation.” Matthew 23:14
We hear so much about “What Would Jesus Do?” And yet just ask yourself; Would and/or did Jesus ever prey upon the dead or the dying to solicit offerings for His Ministry? And yet these Jackals come across so piously as they talk the elderly into signing away their life’s possessions like a bunch of blood thirsty vultures waiting to pick a carcass clean as soon as it dies. Some even go after the surviving children trying to get their hands on a portion of the inheritance by extolling the meaningful virtue and sentimental value of allowing part of Dad and Mom’s or the Grandparent’s Estate to be given to the Ministry for the ongoing work of the Gospel. Jesus described such as these when He said:
“Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness. Even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity.” Matthew 23:27-28
And have you ever noticed how earnestly these Christian Radio talkers plead over the airwaves trying to reach a certain amount for their Radio Network budgets? And have you ever stopped to wonder why it takes so much money? I mean I would personally like to know: If since they actually own their Radio Networks, do they even have to pay for air time? Another question: Are those businesses who sponsor the Christian Radio Networks by running commercials actually paying for the airtime they are using? I would think that they are wouldn’t you? And another question: Are those Ministries they carry paying for the airtime they are using? It would seem that they are, because even the individual Christian Celebrity Radio Ministers whose programs they carry are constantly soliciting support “in order to pay for all the air time!!!” HELLO?
So I must ask: Where exactly is all this money they are raising actually going? And why don’t they just tell everyone how many salaries are being paid and how much those salaries actually are? I mean it might just be of interest to find out exactly how expensive their homes are since Jesus was so poor and lowly don’t you think? And since I’m living in a cold trailer with a mud hole in the front yard. And I am driving an old Oldsmobile with a failing transmission and brakes that I can’t afford to fix! I think I have a right to ask these questions since I can’t turn on the Christian Radio without being put under some guilt trip for cursing myself because I’m not sending them an offering to release God’s blessings upon my life!
So I would also ask: How many new cars do those salaries afford? And how much does it cost to send their children to these Private Christian Schools? And where do these people shop for cloths? Because if I’m cursed for not giving them an offering to help bring their budgets up to par with their extravagant life styles? I’d personally like to know where all this money is going. Because I’ve listened to these charlatans and I’ve heard them talking about being invited to speak at Churches and other religious functions where you better believe they are receiving love offerings just to go speak, on top of the huge salaries they already make? So it must be really nice to live such luxurious lives for just sitting at a microphone for a few hours a day?
Lying to Take from those who are Giving to Live
Thus while you are having to struggle just make ends meet with mounting heating bills, rising gasoline prices, car insurance and repairs, insurance co-pays, hospital and Doctor’s bills, medications and high grocery cost while trying to keep the children clothed and warm through the winter. These people are actually telling you that you are to blame for the financial curse that you are under for not giving them offerings so you too can be financially blessed by God for your obedience.
Yet in reality, that is why they are so financially well off. It’s not because God has supernaturally blessed them. It’s because there are a lot of trusting but yet desperately struggling and suffering Christians out there who are sending in money that they really can’t afford to send, in the hope that God will look down from heaven and give them a little of the blessings that these Christian Radio personalities are living under.
Yet since these hirelings are telling you that God will supernaturally make a way if you will just send them an offering. How about asking them to give their suffering listeners a love offering instead. That way they can believe for God to supernaturally increase their finances in the same way that they are asking you to believe? But it doesn’t work that way, now does it? And why not? Is it really because they are so very special to God that He has placed them in an exalted position over you? Or could it be that they are just godless liars who are playing you like a religious fool in order to get what they can while the getting is good?
The fact of the matter is that you are not under a financial curse for failing to faithfully support such hirlings. You are simply living in the real world where the American tax dollar is being grossly misspent while our economy is being grossly mismanaged and the cost of living is ever growing. And yet in spite of giving these devils your money, you still somehow manage to make it. Only in the simplicity of your love you would never imagine that people could be so treacherous. Yet if you would just stop giving these forked tongued serpents God’s praise and glory and just realize that it is God’s faithfulness and grace which is seeing you through, in spite of you wasting God's money supporting these Media Manipulators. Perhaps you just might find the true mental peace you are seeking. Instead of being conditioned to believe that you are a cursed failure who needs to measure up to the false faith of these faithless phonies. For it was never written that you must make your prayer request to these false teachers in the form of an offering in order to have the peace of God; Rather, it is written:
“Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6-7
Thus, if you will just stop investing your money into these Media Ministries and start getting involved in your own Church if you can find a Biblical sound fellowship. Or start your own personal ministry of helping the needy around you, no matter how small. You will soon discover that God will make your interest His interest because you have made His interest your own interest. And that does not mean you will have a rich and prosperous life or Ministry. What it does means is that no matter what difficulties you might face, you will have an unshakable confidence of faith in God to give you your daily bread and to meet your needs no matter how bad things might get.
Financial Profiting from Racial Profiling
For many years now I have noticed that when doing their fund raisers, a lot of these Christian Television and Radio Media Networks bring in these guys with deep foreign accents (from England, Ireland, Scotland, Australia, India or South Africa,) in order to make their financial appeals to the American Christian Public? And yet you will hardly if ever see or hear a Christian Iranian, Iraqi, Russian, Cuban, German, Japanese, Chinese, Vietnamese, Mexican or Puerto Rican with a deep accent making the offering appeal? And the reason why, is because it is the belief of these Christian Network Executives that their targeted White American Christian audience is more prone to give when solicited by those with European, Australian, South African and certain Asian accents. And it’s all a matter of their racially motivated perceptions of public trust which are being factored into their manipulative money making maneuvers.
You see, the Russian, Cuban, German, Japanese, Chinese and Vietnamese are all past war enemies of the United States. And there are a lot of disabled and elderly people out there who have lived through World War I and II. As well as the Russian Cold War, the Cuban Missile Crisis and Vietnam. And these elderly souls are major contributors to these Christian Ministries as those monthly tithes from their Social Security checks add way up. Thus, it really is a very manipulative psychological mind game with these Christian Media Networks.
And when’s the last time you have ever heard or seen a Mexican or Puerto Rican Christian with a deep accent making an offering appeal for a Christian Radio or Television Network? And have you ever heard an Iranian, Iraqi, Saudi, Pakistani or Afghanistan with deep accents making any offering appeals? With the current war on Extremist Muslims and “Terrorism” going on, you are not very likely to ever hear or see such an offering appeal. And what about a Guatemalan Christian?
Many years ago I was employed in the secular world by a very rich man named Ira, who would later offer to finance my Ministry by putting me on Television. He actually told me that he had some personal friends who ran a professional public relations and fund raising firm. And these people handled the fund raising for Jim and Tammy Baker of the now defunct P.T.L. Ministry before they were actually exposed as godless hirelings before the entire world.
He also told me that these people who handled their fund raisers were not even Christians but still yet they drafted, produced and mailed out all of the P.T.L. Ministries offering appeals. He even told me that most of their appeals dealing with Ministry financial crisis and appeals for needed support were totally fabricated and yet people still gave tons of money when there was no real crisis at all. And that’s why he knew that he could make a ton of money with me, because he said that I not only knew my Bible but I also had a very trust worthy personality on top of being a very good speaker.
Evidently, he himself was looking for a Ministry to exploit because he wanted in on the action. And since I was such a young man, he must have thought that I would take the bait and sell out for the promise of riches. Or perhaps the Devil himself sent him to tempt me? Whatever the case and needless to say, I flatly turned this man down. But I never forgot what he told me about the fund raising scandal going on behind the scenes of the P.T.L. Ministry.
And yet perhaps that is why so many of these Christian Networks use foreigners in order to appeal to their target audiences? For I personally believe that it is because there have been so many shocking scandals exposed in the American Ministry over the last couple of decades, that they know their target audience would more readily trust those with a deep foreign accent rather than those without. And you better believe that these factors have all been considered down to a perfect science by these money mad executives who these Ministry Networks hire to provide advanced strategies for successful fund raising.
The bottom line is that it is a very wicked and evil thing to exploit the carnal nature of men’s unconscious impartialities and/or prejudices against or for other races in order to secure financial gain. And in no way am I even suggesting that all white people have unconscious impartialities and/or prejudices against or for other races. In fact I’m suggesting just the opposite; in that, there are Ministry executives who are using these reverse racist stereotypes about white people to strategize their fund raising techniques. And yet in doing so they are in effect revealing their own racist views against all other minorities by mainly targeting white America.
And as far as race issues go I will just nip everyone’s delusions in the bud by stating that we were all born as a devil race of evil sinners. “Red, Tan, and Yellow as well as Black, Brown and White” / Without the Blood of Jesus we are all wicked in God’s sight! The only “Superior Race” is the Angels of God and they are not even human nor ever have been! Without the blood of Jesus Christ and the conception of the new birth by the Holy Spirit, we are in truth all inferior creatures in kindred with the very demons of hell in their lustful hatred, envious greed and satanic pride. For it is written:
“What then? are we better than they? No, in no wise: for we have before proved both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin; As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one. Their throat is an open sepulchre; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips: Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness: Their feet are swift to shed blood: Destruction and misery are in their ways: And the way of peace have they not known: There is no fear of God before their eyes.” Romans 3:9-18
This is why Jesus said: “…Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.” John 3:5-7
Friend, it is only through being washed in the blood of Jesus Christ that we are made new creatures fit for heaven. White is not right and nor is Black any beautifier. But we are all wrong in heart and ugly in the trespass of our sins. All have sinned and have come short of the Glory of God. Because in the real world in which we live White kids are killing their school mates and are sacrificing their loved ones to Satan while Black kids are killing other Black kids in drive by shootings. And in part it is because we have racist and segregated Churches full of Black and White hypocrites who have long lost the fear of God. And they have taken out the prayer alters in exchange for a worldly stage of entertainment while Satan has come in and has stolen an entire generation of Black and White kids. Because the Devil is racially impartial when it comes to stealing, killing and destroying our loved ones. And we better wake up and pray for a burden if we hope to salvage the souls of the children we still have. Because this is a generation of antichrist and it’s not a white or black devil that is our enemy, but it's the reptilian king of the children of pride whose heart is set towards our eternal destruction!
At this present time Christians across the seas are being burned alive and hacked to pieces with Machetes in their Churches with their children and babies at their sides. All because they have refused to take sides in racially motivated civil wars. And yet here in America we have these Christian Media Networks that are actually using racially bigoted strategies to raise their projected budgets which seem to get bigger and bigger at each new fund raiser. And perhaps this is because they become more and more accustomed to such luxurious life styles that their budgeted salaries are no longer able to cover their personal debts. But after all, it’s just free money to them. That is, as long as you remain faithful in supporting them. Because even in spite of growing factory lay offs, retail closings and rising inflation. Their Gospel Gravy Train has no intention of slowing down.
Adding more Insult to much Injury
I’m sure I’m not the only one who has noticed that a dozen of eggs have gone up to almost $2.00! And that is at the grocery store where you “Save a whole Lot” of money. Milk has been fluctuating between $3.39 and $4.28 at the Super Center and I can’t even buy two gallons of gas for $5.00! And these Cats at the City's Water and Gas had a printing problem and never mailed the bill out. Yet when I contacted them to find out why? They not only threatened to shut the water off by leaving a shut off notice the very next morning. But they also threatened to charge a reconnection fee and another $50.00 deposit because we were late in paying the bill that they never sent and for which I simply called to find out why so we could pay it? Figure that one out!
And I could go on and on about the contrary attitudes and rude abuses of so many people, in not only the private retail sector, but also in the public service sector. There was a time when if you had a simple problem or they made a mistake, you could simply go to a customer service representative, or ask for a manager or just tell someone the problem and a correction would be made for whatever the problem was. Yet now in today’s economy, trying to keep yourself from being ripped off is like pulling teeth. In that in many cases they treat you like you’re a dishonest criminal and even the employed wage earner takes things far too personal and tries to turn what should be an otherwise normal customer’s request for an honest transaction into a heated argument. And you dare not ask for a manager because in many cases they will only add more insult to your injury.
And if your child is in the public school system, God help you. Because besides catching head lice from other children and having to be sent home with an unexcused absence until it is gotten rid of at the high cost of buying lice treatment shampoo that actually works. They will also call you in demanding for you to come and pick your child up if the child vomits in school. And the only way they will count it as an excused absence, is if you go to get a Doctor’s excuse even though they were the ones who called you and they already know the child is sick. Yet the local Doctors will not see anyone without a high insurance co-pay or $100.00 up front if you have no insurance. And if the nearest county Hospital is located in another county it's still going to cost you the gas money to drive 50 miles just to get a Doctor's excuse. And as many times as your child is going to get sick from other children through the school year it can really add up. And those parents who live on a tight budget just can’t afford it. Yet after only six unexcused absences they will have you taken before the county magistrate and on top of having to pay a $500.00 fine, they will throw you in jail for 30 days.
This world system is becoming so dictatorial and difficult to deal with that it is actually ripe for a totalitarian government to rise and take over. Because like it or not, that is the spirit of this once righteous and free nation. Yet because of iniquity abounding, the majority of our fellow American’s which we have to deal with from day to day, (just to live in this hateful society,) have already become godlessly rude and tyrannically cruel. And far too many people seem hell bent upon exercising and abusing their power just to oppose and undermine others.
And if you have ever driven a car in this part of the country going the posted speed limit? You might have noticed that far too many other drivers will purposely ride very close to your bumper and they will turn their bright lights on to blind you until you move into another lane. The only problem is that once you move over there will be someone else flying up on your bumper blinding you. And if you do not speed up to 85 miles an hour when the limit is only 45, or if you take too long waiting for a break in traffic, just trying to get out of their way and they are forced to go around you. They will fly past you cursing, blowing their horns and making obscene gestures with their hand. You really gotta feel for the elderly driver, because I don’t know how they make it on these roads, streets and highways without having a nervous breakdown? And in some cases you will see bumper stickers on these speeding road rager’s vehicles which read: “Christians are not perfect - Just Forgiven” or “I’m a Sinner - Saved by Grace” or “God is my Co-Pilot.” And you just know that these people are most likely listening to a Christian Radio Broadcast which brainwashes them into believing that they are Eternally Secure as they travel the High Way to Hell.
And my point is simply that many of these Media Ministers are not living in the real world. Because if they really were, they would not be so arrogantly insensitive about adding such insults to the injury of every day life when demanding our tithes and offering.
Beware of the Tithe Gougers
Finally: I find it totally insulting that there are Preachers who will actually use the message of God’s coming great judgment upon our economy and nation as an occasion to solicit tithes and offerings from people. Because it really does reveal their true heart’s motives as being so shamelessly arrogant and greedy, that they would actually have the audacity to exploit God’s people in such a shameful manner. Nobody likes a greedy price gouger in times of a national crisis; thus, how much more despicable are these hirelings who are presently practicing the deplorable act of tithe gouging? No one is going to be concerned about money in those soon coming days of darkness. Because as we read in the first chapter of Zephaniah: “Neither their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them in the day of the LORD'S wrath…” Zephaniah 1:18
And James testified against this spirit of greed in such men when he wrote: “Go to now, ye rich men, weep and howl for your miseries that shall come upon you. Your riches are corrupted, and your garments are motheaten. Your gold and silver is cankered; and the rust of them shall be a witness against you, and shall eat your flesh as it were fire. Ye have heaped treasure together for the last days.” James 5:1-4
And this is exactly what some are doing in the Ministry. They are heaping up treasures for the last days by threatening Christians to be paid up to date on all their tithes and offerings and to continue giving generously because they warn that your future security depends upon it. So what these self proclaimed prophetic seers are actually saying, is that we must take serious thought for tomorrow’s financial security by paying them money in order for them to do the work of God today. Is that about right? Have you ever heard anything along those lines? I know I have.
And yet we must ask ourselves, is it even Biblical to put Christians under a stressful fear trip concerning the evils of tomorrow. And then to end the message by stating that one‘s future security depends upon them giving tithes and offerings to a spiritually bankrupt Church system if they wish to survive? Where is the Bible for this kind of teaching? For is it not written and did not Jesus say:
“Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature? And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.” Matthew 6:25-34
So we understand that the “Tithe Gouger” will tell you that you must take thought for tomorrow: because tomorrow shall not take thought for itself unless you are paid up on your tithes and offerings. And so therefore it is not sufficient to just walk in faith to face one day's evil at a time anymore. Because we now have to worry about offending God and starving to death in the future if we can't afford to give ten percent of all our money to the Ministry! So we would have to assume that these tithe gougers are lying or either Jesus was just confused, because Jesus said: “Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.”
Far from trying to be prepared by paying up your tithes and offerings to these hirelings so that they might heap treasure together for the last days while you are left hanging, wondering how you are going to survive? We might ought to think about seeking the face of God and repenting, so that we might be hid in the day of the Lord’s anger. Because as it is written, the silver and gold belongs to God and He is going to fill His house with glory.
“Gather yourselves together, yea, gather together, O nation not desired; Before the decree bring forth, before the day pass as the chaff, before the fierce anger of the LORD come upon you, before the day of the LORD'S anger come upon you. Seek ye the LORD, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the LORD'S anger.” Zephaniah 2:1-3
“Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil; Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow. Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land: But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.” Isaiah 1:16-20
“For thus saith the LORD of hosts; Yet once, it is a little while, and I will shake the heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land; And I will shake all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come: and I will fill this house with glory, saith the LORD of hosts. The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, saith the LORD of hosts. The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the LORD of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the LORD of hosts.” Haggai 2:6-9
In Conclusion: God and His kingdom are not going to go into a panicked crisis because of not being able to function or to carry on because these Media Ministries do not raise all the support they need in order to do every thing that they feel called to do. From the time of Pentecost until this present hour, unknown Christians have done what they could with what they had regardless of being financially blessed by God through others or not. And I would suggest that we bear our Crosses and do the same because in this day and hour the true laborers are so few and so far in between. Therefore let us beware of these Mammonites and always guard against being deceived by their insidious ways. May God Bless and Keep you in the truth of Jesus Christ and His true Gospel.
