For God So Loved You
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son,
that whosoever believeth in him should not perish,
but have everlasting life.”
John 3:16-21
When it's your time to go you shall lose all control
You're going to die it's as simple as that
How may ever it be, preconceived or unforeseen?
It might be wise to consider the facts
One day you're alive and then by surprise
Death has taken the breath from your lungs
Thus your body it dies and your loved ones sore cry
Yet the question remains: ''Where have you gone?''
Will it be to heaven above to rejoice in God's love
Would you be able to stand in the light?
Or to hell down below where one and all go
Who have never been bought with the price?
God's Word clothed in man's flesh, it was Jesus who said:
You must be born of the Spirit from on high
Thus, repent of your sins and be born again
Calling upon Jesus: The Way, Truth and Life
You must believe that He died, for you, all and I
And for our sins His sinless blood was shed
Have faith in your heart to reach forth from the dark
Knowing that this same Jesus was raised from the Dead
Then admit with your life's breath, you're dying unto death
Confess that you're a sinner in need of God's love
Accepting His merciful grace, by believing in faith
Be ye transformed by His soul cleansing blood

“For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but
that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him
is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already,
because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of
God. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the
world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds
were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither
cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that
doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made
manifest, that they are wrought in God.” John 3:17-21
