All Kinds of Music And the Rise of a Global Antichrist Music Style (My Introductory Article to “The Remnant Contender”) Call me crazy if you like, but there is a very real effort (yea, even a satanic conspiracy) going on in both the Secular and Christian Music and Entertainment Industries that be, to mix and corrupt all Christian Music with all the various worldly styles of Popular Secular Music. And at the same instance they are creating new hybrid fusions of the popular styles by merging them all together. For example: “Rock Music + Country Music = Rockabilly” and “Heavy Metal + Punk Rock = Thrash Metal” and “Hardcore Punk + Metal = Alternative Rock” and “Alternative Rock + Acid Rock = Grunge Rock” and “Metal + Rap = KID ROCK” and “Hip Hop + Rap = Gangsta Rap” and “Gangsta rap + Metal = Eminem” and “Pop + Rock = Britney Spears and NSYNC” and you can go and on and on with the fusions of all the different music styles that I’ve not even mentioned. Like R & B, Soul, Funk, Jazz, Salsa, Latin, and Reggae and so forth and so on. Yet the Musical Crossovers and Merges don’t stop there. Because old Lucifer is also fusing together all the various cultural styles and traditional sounds of the Nations by blending them together with all the various popular styles so that there is emerging a single Global Musical Style and Sound of “all kinds of Music.”
The Will of the Worship
“Nebuchadnezzar the king made an image of gold, whose height was threescore cubits, and the breadth thereof six cubits: he set it up in the plain of Dura, in the province of Babylon. Then Nebuchadnezzar the king sent to gather together the princes, the governors, and the captains, the judges, the treasurers, the counsellors, the sheriffs, and all the rulers of the provinces, to come to the dedication of the image which Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up. Then the princes, the governors, and captains, the judges, the treasurers, the counsellors, the sheriffs, and all the rulers of the provinces, were gathered together unto the dedication of the image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up; and they stood before the image that Nebuchadnezzar had set up. Then an herald cried aloud, To you it is commanded, O people, nations, and languages, That at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, dulcimer, and all kinds of music, ye fall down and worship the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king hath set up: And whoso falleth not down and worshippeth shall the same hour be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace. Therefore at that time, when all the people heard the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and all kinds of music, all the people, the nations, and the languages, fell down and worshipped the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up.” Daniel 3:4-7 It is more than interesting to note that this image was exactly “SIXTY” cubits high and “SIX” cubits wide and that both great and small from the highest governor to the lowest citizen were commanded to bow down before and worship this image. I believe that this account of forced “Image Worship” in the Book of Daniel foreshadows the Worship of the Image of the Beast whose number is “SIX hundred and SIXTY SIX” spoken of in the book of Revelation. “And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.” Revelation 13:15-18 The connecting factor between today’s emerging global music style and the coming worship of the image of the Beast is that this emerging global music style and sound would have to be religious in order to induce a spirit of worship toward the image of the Beast; Thus, what is very telling about this on going effort to fuse and merge all styles of music, is that the “Christian” Music World and its Industries are all leading the way in merging Modern Christian Gospel, Choir, Praise, Worship, Hymns, Psalms and Spiritual Songs with “all kinds of secular music styles.” There is even a call within the Contemporary Christian Music Industry itself to come back to the heart of worship. And “the heart of worship” is a term that is being voiced by many of the so called “Christian” Celebrity insiders. It is as if there is an unintentionally implied admission among the Celebrities themselves that their Music Ministries are totally void of worship. You hear it coming through their interviews and in their testimonies all of the time. There are also sentiments expressed concerning the spiritual hunger of the so-called “Christian” youth in their masses, whose lives are in actuality a testimony to the spiritually bankrupt system that the Contemporary so-called “Christian” Entertainment” industry represents. So there is a cry coming out of the Contemporary Music world for something deeper. But still yet, It comes across in statements concerning God as being upon this last generation so powerfully and strong, which is said to be evidenced by their intense hunger and extreme radical zeal for God. Yet in reality, it’s simply shallowness calling unto shallowness mistaking the flesh for the Spirit and confusing the Spirit of God with the spirit of antichrist. For their’s is not a call to repentance; but rather, it is a cry of self validation which totally ignores their own compromises of the Scriptures by worldly conformity; Thus, sadly they misinterpret their own unintentionally implied admissions of being spiritually undone as being prophetic pronouncements of their own purity and self righteousness. Yet such is the blind self righteous hypocrisy that leads to the curse of the coming strong delusion upon them who love not the truth. As it is written: “Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God. Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things? And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.“ 2nd Thessalonians 2:1-12 The fearfulest inclination that can be realized from observing the overall insidious digression of this end time apostasy is the fact that once the “Mystery of Iniquity” is complete and that “Wicked” is revealed. There will most certainly descend an inescapable strong delusion of false spiritual life and religious ecstasy in response to their self determined will toward worldly worship. A worship which shall be substantiated by the actual physical manifestation of this “Image” which shall fill the gapping inner void that exist within the hearts of the masses. (Sounds a lot like a Contemporary Christianity and Computer and/or Television Entertainment does it not?) Thus, they shall be given totally over to their own will of worship in their willful unbelief which they have refused to allow the love of the truth to break them from so that they might be saved.
To Be or not To Be? That! - is no longer the Question. Even more telling is the fact that the line of distinction between Secular Non-Christian and Contemporary Christian Music is now so indistinguishable that there are actually Secular “Non-Christian” Music Artist crossing over into the Contemporary Christian Market doing Contemporary Christian projects. Yet why not and what’s the big difference? After all, the Contemporary Christian Music Artists have been incorporating Non-Christian Secular Music into their projects and concerts for years. Not to mention “Crossing Over” to Non-Christian Secular labels. The problem is that all along they have claimed that they were taking Jesus with them into their worldly compromises in the name of Evangelism. So following this line of reasoning, are we then to assume that those Secular Artist who are crossing over into the Contemporary Christian world, are actually bringing Satan over with them as well? Of course the Contemporary Christian Music Industry would deny that such is the case. Because after all, these Secular Artist are not just Secular Artist, they are actually Secular Artist who have been Contemporary Christians all along. Or so that is their justification for the contradictory confusion that their compromises and sins represent. Yet God’s Word exposes both the Contemporary and Secular so-called “Christian” Artist for the Worldlings that they all really are. “Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever. Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time. They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us. 1st John 2:15-19 They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them. We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error. 1st John 4:5-6 The Church at large has certainly come a long way in presenting an all inclusive, all accommodating Gospel. The very fact that it has reached the point in which there is no longer any distinguishable difference between Secular Non-Christian and Contemporary Christian Music, only testifies to the perditious truth; Namely, that their false and counterfeit Christianity is good for nothing but the dung hill. Did not Jesus say: “Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.” Matthew 5:13
World Challenge Inc. Challenges the Word of God We must not be ignorant of just how wide spread this apostasy has become. Several years ago I ordered a cassette tape of what I assumed would be godly music from World famous Evangelist - David Wilkerson’s Times Square Church, through his World Challenge, Inc. Ministry out of Lindale Texas. The tape was called “New Song.” As I played the tape in disbelief of what I was hearing, an unsaved and very carnal relative walked in and was immediately caught up in the worldly spirit coming through the tape player. This relative actually began to make perverse facial expressions that seemed to express exactly what this music was intended to convey as she began to move her body to its beat and sound. It was like the sinful carnality of her lost soul was immediately turned on and put under a perverse spell by the perverse praise and worship music of David Wilkerson’s Times Square Church Choir. She actually yelled: “Heeeeey!” as she began to do a very sensuous dance to this perverse music of devils. Understand that it was the soulish sin nature of her carnal flesh that immediately identified with and was arrested by the soulish sin nature of their carnality coming through the stereo speakers. By “their” I mean those worldly compromisers who made this worldly music to begin with. Just listening to various songs on the tape, there was a strong bent toward Salsa Dance Music and Pop Party Music coming through loud and clear. So this relative was not moved by the Holy Spirit to “Dance like David Danced.” I mention this because far too many times the defenders of this Contemporary compromise in religion will justify their hypocrisy by implicating King David as being a partaker in their evil works. Yet King David joyfully leaping before the Lord has nothing to do with the ungodly and worldly vulgar sensuous dancing that is evoked and induced by such Contemporary Christian Pop Rock and Salsa music. Music I might add, which came through so loud and clear that a little seven year old child who was also present walked in and looking very confused he said: “Uncle Raymond, why are you playing the devil’s music?” Even a child knows the difference between the holy and the profane. Then not long afterward my older sister brought me a cassette tape by Carter Conlon who is the Senior Pastor of David Wilkerson’s Times Square Church in Manhattan New York. In this message Carter Conlon rebuked true and godly Christians as being as evil as racist slave owners and/or as heartless as those who verbally abuse their own children with insults. The message title is: ''RUNNING FROM THE CHURCH TO FIND GOD'' Tape # C470 (which can be purchased for $3.00 from World Challenge Inc, P.O. Box 260 Lindale Tx. 75771) After twisting the Word of God in order to condemn the righteous so that he might justify the wicked, Carter Conlon made this shocking statement towards the end of the message: “By power of Christ, there are some tongues that need to be brought under control. Mothers, Fathers listen to me. Don't ruin your own house. Don't deny the grace of God to your own children, Let them grow. Let them express themselves. Let them come home with their Weird Looking Outfits and Music that you don't like. Let them grow. But you, You be the channel of God to them. But you be the Christ to them. Tell them about the wonderful plan of God. And tell them that it is not exclusive. It's for everybody.'' ''RUNNING FROM THE CHURCH TO FIND GOD'' By Carter Conlon Tape # C470 World Challenge Inc, P.O. Box 260 Lindale Tx. 75771 Had he concluded his message by admonishing the Saints of God not to write off as hopeless but to patiently love those who are caught up in the worldly compromise and snare of this idolatrous music and life style, then I would be more inclined to interpret his railings against the righteous throughout the message as simply being his own over passionate response to the error of some people’s impatience with those who are snared by the perditious perversions of Contemporary Pop Rock Music. I myself believe that there is hope for some and that we should not be too quick to write them all off as being doomed to follow the antichrist though the majority certainly shall. Yet he did not admonish the Saints of God in the way of true Godly love and Christ-like meekness at all. He actually rebuked God fearing parents for not allowing their children to indulge in the Contemporary Christian World’s hog’s wallow and life style of sin and compromise.
The Elementary Error of Christian Weirdness Forgive me for what I’m about to write, but now I know how the Apostle Paul must have felt when he wrote the following: “Would to God ye could bear with me a little in my folly: and indeed bear with me. For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ. But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtlety, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.” 2nd Corinthians 11:1-4 In no way am I trying to purposely insult anyone’s intelligence here by addressing them as a simpleton; However, we must understand that when contending for the gracious love of our God against legalistic extremes, a Minister should never confirm people in their sins of worldliness while trying to seduce others into such damnable errors. And on the other side of the coin, (bear with me a little now in my folly) when you hear a Minister trying to commend and validate some lust related extreme like dressing the little Christian kiddies and teeny boppers up to look like “Boy George” and “Madonna” in the “Weird Looking Outfits” - that all those old fashioned so called “legalistic” parents out there don't like. You know the kind, those parents who actually care for their children’s eternal souls and take the Bible serious and do not see God the Father as some Great Sugar Daddy up in the sky chilling with Ole’ Boy J.C.? Well, there it is folks! I mean that if you’re actually going to listen to such blasphemous stupidity and take it serious because you have a lust for it, then there comes a time that you really need to be soundly rebuked and to have your intelligence insulted if that is how you want to take it. But hey! Here’s an idea, why not just admit the truth and repent? This is not about proving who can win a debate, your eternal soul is hanging in the balance! If you do not awake and get out of this End Time seduction and snare, you are in grave danger of forever turning your ears away from the truth and being turned over to fables. For it is written: “I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.” 2nd Timothy 4:1-5 It’s really such an elementary thing. I mean is it just me being legalistic here or am I right in thinking that it would really make a lot sense that it is Satan and not Jesus who wants Christian parents to throw out the Word of God and allow their children to listen to the devil’s music and dress weirdly? Hello? What’s it gonna take? Wake up already! For all their talk about “love” they seem to forget that encouraging people to compromise and sin is not an expression of love at all. Yet like all apostates they are very sharp and quick to demonize anyone who pleads for the truth to warn souls against going to the hell that such worldly compromises and sins lead to. Thus their self righteous hypocrisy far exceeds any charge of “legalism” that they seek to tag the righteous with. To such it can be rightly said: “Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.” Matthew 7:5
We need Righteous Revelation not Sinful Speculations David Wilkerson and his Times Square Pulpit is revered by Remnant Christians and Overcomers the world over as being God's mightiest Contender of the Faith and Watchman in this late hour. So why didn't Wilkerson publicly rebuke and correct Carter Conlon for this seduction of demons and doctrine of devils which he has perpetrated against God's people? Exactly where do they read in their Bibles that Parents and Pastors will ruin their own houses if they do not allow their children to “express themselves…” by letting “…them come home with their Weird Looking Outfits and Music that the parents don't like?” Throughout his message “Running from the Church to find God,” Carter Conlon never laid a true Biblical foundation for what he was teaching. He did use the book of Philemon and the story of Onesimus as his text. Yet throughout his entire message he made the following statements saying: “perhaps…?” / “It’s my feeling…?” / “That’s only speculation on my part…?” / “But I want you to follow this train of thought…?” / “If that were the case…?” / “I want you to picture…?” / “Is it possible…?” / “I feel…” / ”perhaps?” / “…maybe…?” “…maybe…?” / “We don’t really know the issue, but…?” “I think…?” I would like to personally tell Carter Conlon that if he is going to feel, guess and speculate his way through a sermon in order to twist the Word of God; not only to his own destruction, but to the deception and corruption of others, then he has no business claiming to speak by the power of Jesus Christ. Especially when he is rebuking God Fearing Parents and Preachers telling us that we must let Satan dress and educate our children into walking according to the course of this ungodly world while we keep our mouths shut. No Carter Conlon, it is your tongue that needs to be brought under control because you have fallen into the error of the grossest kind. It is you Sir, who sees right as wrong and wrong as right and instead of talking about going back and apologizing to people for all those years you preached righteousness and offended many, you might want to read your Bible again because the way that leads to life is still a narrow way. It is not this wonderful plan you talked about where “it’s not exclusive” and “it’s for everybody!” Because Jesus said that by their fruits you shall know them and not every one that cries “Lord, Lord” is going to make it. So it’s not really for everybody, it’s only for those who take heed unto and who actually obey the Word of God. For Jesus said: “Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.“ Matthew 7:13-23 It should be a matter of great fear to consider that once sound Bible teachers can become so twisted by this error of worldly compromise in the Churches, that they actually go on a mission to fight against and slander the righteous so that they might pervert and corrupt their children into this lust cult of their worldly entertainment. Yet as we have seen, these apostate wolves in sheep’s clothing call this kind of compromise “grace.” Talk about “turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness,” Yet the Apostle Jude warned us against such ungodly men: “Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints. For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.” Jude 1:3-4 The true grace of God that brings salvation is not this all inclusive, contemporary compromising, ecumenical mush that is being compromised with by David Wilkerson, Carter Conlon and others. For it is written: “For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.” Titus 2:11-15
Sincere but Satanic? Sad to say: the teaching now coming out of David Wilkerson's Ministry concerning fashions and music is a message from the lips of Satan himself. Only a Deceived Minister posing as a Minister of Righteousness would preach such a passionate and emotionally charged message about a “love” which demands for Pastors and Parents to allow their children to express themselves in the unisex fashions of this late hour. And only a Deceived Minister would demand for Pastors and Parents to let their children bring the World's Music into their Churches and homes. This is beyond seduction by Devils. This is an out right Apostasy. I honestly think that Carter Conlon might very well be sincere. Yet he is sincerely wrong and though his motives might not be satanic, his actions certainly are. Remember, the Apostle Peter himself had the sincerest of motives when he attempted to sway Jesus from going to the Cross by rebuking Him. Yet Jesus responded by saying: “Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men.” Matthew 16:23 No matter how sincere one might be, such actions reveal that something is terribly wrong with the individuals who are knowingly assassinating the characters of the righteous to defend the apostasies of the rebellious under the pretense of contending for grace and love. We are warned by the Apostle Paul against such men when he wrote: “For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.” 2nd Corinthians 11:13-15 I personally wrote letters to both Carter Conlon and David Wilkerson sending a letter to Wilkerson’s World Challenge, Inc. Ministry in Lindale Texas first. Then after receiving no response I sent a letter to Times Square Pulpit in Manhattan New York and finally directly to David Wilkerson’s own address expressing my concerns about Carter Conlon’s demonic sermon and the Salsa, Pop Party Music that was being sold through their Ministry. But my letters of concern were ignored and never answered. Thus, to date David Wilkerson and his staff refused to answer any of my letters of concern and reproof. Also I’m not aware of David Wilkerson ever making any public apologies or ever reproving Carter Conlon for this evil venomous attack against godly Pastors and Parents. And the question remains: After Wilkerson’s own supposed vision of Satan appearing at a Contemporary Christian Rock Concert receiving all the worship. And after the many messages Wilkerson has personally preached against Pastors and Parents allowing their youths to “express themselves…” by letting “…them come home with their Weird Looking Outfits and Music that the parents don't like.” Why is Wilkerson now allowing these same kind of evil seductions to be sold through his World Challenge Ministry?”
The Contemporary Carnality Conditioning Process Satan knows that there are many, many thousands of God fearing people who receive David Wilkerson as an End Time Prophet and Carter Conlon as a great Contender of the faith. Thus, Satan is leaving no stone unturned in trying to corrupt as many Christians as he possibly can into the Cult of Modern Contemporary Compromise. And those who refuse to bow their knees to this modern form of Baal worship are sure to be slandered and castigated as being as ungracious as evil racist and unloving as child abusing parents. Yet this is only a tactic of the enemy that is meant to prejudice others who might have other wise considered the truth against those who speak such lies. So that those who have been subverted by such slanderous lies will be predisposed to reject the truth as being a legalistic extreme. Most disturbing is the fact that there are many elements within the Christian Music Industry as a whole, which have reintroduced the old time hymns, psalms and spiritual songs of praise and worship with a sensuous, wanton, worldly spirit that comes through the singer’s vocals and the player’s sound. I’ve heard renditions of songs like Amazing Grace and other great hymns being sung by the Celebrity Contemporary Stars which sound so wretched that you actually feel emotionally and spiritually violated just hearing them. Yet there are many other such old traditional Gospel songs and hymns being reintroduced by various Celebrities from various Music backgrounds and styles which are not so obviously wretched, but they are nonetheless stained by the same perversity of worldliness. And this on going leavening process that is being perpetrated through the various “Christian” Radio and Television Broadcasting Networks has really corrupted a lot of Christians out there. I’m hard pressed to even find a Traditional Fundamentalist Church where the singing does not sound like Sensuous Pop-Rock or Country & Western Music. That which I’m trying to say is that the spiritually wicked powers that be are actually attempting to totally eradicate all true worship of God in the hearts of true believers by replacing it with traditional and old fashioned sounding psalms, hymns and spiritual songs that have just enough of a modern soulish element to be offensive to God but yet at the same instance the carnality of these tainted songs is indiscernible by most people. And though these traditional sounding songs might very well sound unworldly, nice, lovely, good and pretty, they are none the less godless. They are godless because there is not only a mixture of the flesh but there is also an unpronounced spirit of antichrist error just beneath the surface which comes through the Contemporary Christian Celebrities which are thus possessed by the spirit of this age. Thus the little leaven leavens the whole lump as the individuals listening are ever so insidiously being conditioned to worship in a soulish deception rather than in Spirit and in Truth.
The “Word” or The “World?” We so often hear the defenders as well as the opposers of Contemporary Christian Music speaking about the motives of the heart behind the songs, either justifying or condemning this music. And the one side uses such contradictory and shallow reasoning to justify this Music based on the verbally expressed intentions of some C-Rocker whose worldly and sinful actions speak far louder than his deluded heart’s expressions. Then there are those on the other side of the issue who express very legitimate concerns about the spiritual darkness in the lives of these C-Rockers. Concerns which certainly expose the true heart of the matter about Contemporary Christian Music. Yet there is one factor concerning the motives of the heart that very few preachers from either side of the issue have ever considered. What about Satan’s dark heart? We talk about “worldliness” but we have reached a point in time where once clear and definable terms no longer have the same meanings to people. Stay with me here because we are going to see this emerging spiritual tower of Babel for what it really is. Babel basically means: “Confusion.” Therefore we must get past all the confusing terms and defining factors and go right to the heart of the issue. Ultimately Music is a spiritual element and all Music arises from only two streams of inspiration. And each one of those streams finds their individual source coming from either the heart of God or the heart of Satan. Thus we must try the spirits and understand that it is by the Word of God alone whereby we must test and try all Music. If it comes from God it will both verbally and visibly confess the Word of God. For the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us. And if it is not from God but comes from the heart of Satan, then it will not verbally and visibly confess the Word of God! For it is written: “Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them. We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error. 1st John 4:1-6 The question which remains to be answered by the masses belonging to the antichrist system Church at large is simple: What spirit is their music and worship really confessing? Are they confessing the Word of God? Or are they confessing the World of Satan? If they are confessing the Word of God, you will no doubt see a visible testimony that Jesus Christ has indeed come in the flesh. This means that their very lives will no longer confess “The World,” but as New Creatures in Christ Jesus their lives will confess “The Word” of God. As it is written: “As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance: But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.” 1st Peter 1:14-16 “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” Romans 12:2 Being “conformed to this world” and “fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance.” are the very hallmarks of Contemporary Christianity. “They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them.” Thus we must conclude that they are indeed of the spirit of antichrist and instead of treating their system as if they are simply of a differing doctrinal view but are still saved, we must instead come out from among such and realize that they represent the very Church of the antichrist. The Southern Gospel Music industry is not that innocent either. I realize that I’m going to be lambasted and lampooned for what I’m about to write, but I must butcher this sacred cow as well. I can’t help but to notice that there is a very visible and discernable spirit of vain pride, self glory, drunkenness and even homosexuality that is manifested upon the Southern Gospel Music Industry as a whole. And a great deal of Southern Gospel is stained by the shameful modern style and sound of Country Music. Yet these two styles, “Country” and “Southern Gospel” have been crossing over between each other as far back as before Christian Contemporary Music even existed. Only now as Country Music becomes more “Pop-Rock” oriented and/or fused with the sound of “New Age Inspirational” music, you can’t help but hear these same genres coming through in a lot of the modern Southern Gospel. And as time goes on, the sounds of Country, Pop Rock and New Age will become even more pronounced in Southern Gospel Music. In case you think that I am only saying these things because I personally do not like Southern Gospel Music, you are wrong. I really love Godly Spirit Anointed Southern Gospel, it is the mixture with worldliness that I can’t handle.
Con-temporary Christian + Secular-Fusion = “Con-Fusion” Confusion + Worship = A Tower of Babel And A Tower of Babel + Modern Technology = The Image of the Beast! This leavening process to corrupt all Christian Music has been carried on ever so insidiously and over such a long period of time that in many circles, neither the Pastor nor the people have the slightest clue that they are compromising. And because it takes place by imperceptible degrees of alteration, after a time they actually no longer have the spiritual discernment to even know the difference between that which is perverted and worldly and that which is praise and worship! As already stated, behind these various related factors involving the corruption of worship in the Church, there is a very real satanic conspiracy being orchestrated by the very powers of darkness (through both wicked secular and apostate religious men who are being driven by the spirit of antichrist through their own greed) to spiritually unify the secular and religious entertainment world’s together through musical worship; Thus, by merging the various styles of Music including the merging of Christian and Secular Music. They are in effect breaking down all walls of separation between the Church and the World as they attempt to spiritually unify the Church at large with the world on a soulical and spiritual level. So that we all might share a common idolatry in communion with the powers of darkness, in preparation of the coming of the Antichrist; Thus, Sound Biblical Doctrines and defining terms must continuously be undermined as they are reinterpreted and redefined to the point that individuals who now look like sadomasochistic homosexual witch doctor cannibal tribesmen can actually stand before the masses on the so called “Christian” Television Networks rebuking the Church for its worldliness and compromise? Thus, these individuals act as satanic change agents or agents of change to bring about a new Christian consciousness that is void of Godliness and truth. The overall effect that these continual contradictions of reality are having upon the populace is that they are desensitizing people against the shameful and shocking reality of the change agents’ own utter hypocrisy, which they and their Contemporary Pop Rock Music represents. They accomplish this by reintroducing false concepts of personal righteousness and holiness that are outrageously hostile and contrary to every teaching found in the Holy Bible which relates to these matters. Sadly the majority of the Christian Church at large has been deceived by these false teachers; Thus, anyone who dares to warn them against their damnable error is verbally crucified and quickly wrote off as a Fundamentalist Legalistic Extremist Fanatic. Yet we must never grow weary because there are still many precious souls who can still be reached and pulled from the fires of a burning hell as long as there are bold witnesses out there who are standing against this world wide apostasy. Contemporary Christian + Secular-Fusion = “Confusion” and Confusion + Worship = “A Tower of Babel” and A Tower of Babel + Modern Technology = “The Image of the Beast!” Thus what “Image” do our lives really reflect? When you consider that the “Image of the Beast” involves a religious government system of economic control made up of individual people who shall represent the populace as a whole, which shall worship a counterfeit Christ who comes not as a holy spotless lamb but as the ultimate manifestation of the man of sin bearing the ungodly image of the world, which is the spiritual equivalent of the satanic lusts and pride of man; Only then will you stop fearing some coming Devil Man and Start fearing God lest you also be found to be in conformity and fashion with the image of the beast and thus cursed to take his mark. “Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.“ 2nd Thessalonians 2:9-12 “And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon. And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.” Revelation 13:11-18
